This is a playful blending of 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Pinot Noir, 20% Merlot, and 30% Syrah. It offers red fruit, wild strawberry and a hint of hard spices.
In the glass, this Syrah is deep, intense, nearly inky purple in color. The nose offers hints of plums, hard spices and coffee.

The 2008 Monterey Pinot was sourced 10% our Russell Estate Vineyard in Corral de Tierra and 90% from the Silacci Vineyard at the northern end of the Santa Lucia Highlands. This wine is a classic cold weather pinot with jewels coloring and bright berry flavors.
Our 2007 Monterey Pinot Noir offers a return to a more delicate style of Pinot Noir. The nose begins with a lovely floral and rose promise. Strawberry and Santa Rosa plum notes are balanced with a touch of rhubarb leaning to a clean and crisp finish.
Full and intense in the mouth, rich fruit flavors are carried by balancing acidity that keeps the wine focused and produces a lush finish.
2007 was a great year to make wine on the California coast. We were blessed with well balanced canopies and a long, mild fall which led to full phenolic ripeness and wonderful balance.
